This is an optional PSM Carbon Fiber Battery Mount was designed for use with the Tamiya TB EVO7. This carbon battery mount was designed as a lightweight and durable replacement option for the kit-included steel battery mount. It features a tape-style fixture, just like the original battery mount. The adjustable design allows to fine-tune the battery position, and is especially useful for shorty batteries.
